The dedicated Westwood team ensure that all children have a rounded education and are challenged to do their very best.
I am proud to be the head of this wonderful school where the children never cease to amaze me; they are friendly, charming and extremely enthusiastic.

We are Reading
At Westwood we have a passion for reading! Reading is a skill that most of us take for granted, yet is one that is essential for being able to get on in life. As a child grows up, being able to read well not only enables them to discover new facts and to learn at school, but also opens them up to a world of new ideas, stories and opportunities.
We are a Forest School
The ethos of Forest School is based on the understanding that children have a built in desire to investigate the world around them through play. At Westwood we are lucky to have a forest school onsite where our children have a variety of experiences.
We are Active
We are pleased to announce that we have achieved the School Games Silver Award for 2021-22. This is a national award for the work we have done to encourage children to live more active lives.
